Archives Room

This display case contains memorabilia of William Wallace Hensley (1834-1914).  Hensley was born in Marion County, Illinois, and  was a veteran of the Civil War. He fought for the Union with Company C, 21st Illinois Infantry.  He was held captive in Andersonville Prison for a time, but survived and returned to Illinois in 1865.  For more details about his life, please click here.
